Vivo is reportedly preparing to release a new model in its mid-range V series lineup, with industry insiders pointing toward an August debut in India. While the brand has yet to make an official announcement, the upcoming model is widely speculated to be the Vivo V60 5G.
According to sources familiar with the matter, the Vivo V60 5G is likely a rebranded version of the Vivo S30, which earlier launched in China. The anticipated release aims to expand the V series, which gained traction with the Vivo V50.
The device is expected to offer a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen delivering a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. Brightness levels could reach 1300 nits (HBM). Performance is projected to be driven by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, coupled with a 6500mAh battery. Fast charging support may reach up to 90W.
Camera capabilities are expected to include a ZEISS-branded triple-lens setup. The rear system could feature a 50MP main shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. A 50MP front-facing camera may be housed within the punch-hole display for selfies and video calls.
Software-wise, the phone is tipped to ship with FuntouchOS built on Android 16. Colour options could include Mist Grey, Moonlit Blue, and Auspicious Gold.
Market estimates suggest the Vivo V60 5G could launch in India with a price tag between Rs 37,000 and Rs 40,000. Details regarding RAM and storage variants remain unconfirmed.
The company has not issued any formal statement about the launch timeline, availability, or specifications. More clarity is expected in the coming weeks as the potential release window nears.
